Overview

Dietitian Connection is growing! We’re looking for a talented Account Director to lead and nurture partnerships within our food team.

In this pivotal role, you’ll be the key point of contact for our valued clients in the food sector, building strong, lasting relationships and ensuring the seamless delivery of projects that inspire and empower the dietetic community. You’ll bring a mix of strategic thinking, commercial acumen, and people leadership — helping to shape impactful campaigns and drive meaningful outcomes.


You

A little about you:

* You are a results-driven account director and business development professional who thrives on building client relationships, driving revenue growth, and delivering measurable outcomes.
* With a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution, you manage multiple client accounts and projects with ease.
* You bring fresh ideas and solutions to the table, backed by strong communication, commercial acumen, and organisational skills.
* You are a skilled nutrition communicator able to deliver impactful and engaging content that balances food regulations and evidence-based practice with our brand tone and voice.
* You’re confident working in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment and excel at identifying opportunities that add value for both clients and the business.
* You have a passion for education and advancing the dietetics profession. Together with our members, we are driving meaningful, actionable change for the good of our profession and our communities.


You also bring

* 7+ years of experience in account management, sales, or business development, ideally in health, wellness, food, or professional membership sectors.
* Demonstrated ability to grow client relationships
* Familiarity with CRM systems and analytics, with the ability to translate insights into action.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and build long-term trust.
* Proven ability to collaborate with internal teams, partners, and external stakeholders to create win–win solutions.
* Strong project and account management skills with keen attention to detail and deadlines.
* Education: Post-graduate qualification in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
* Dietitian qualification and experience

The role is 35 hours per week (home based, Melb/Syd preferred), we don’t work Friday afternoons. We offer a competitive remuneration package.
