We are working with a leading global private markets investor to appoint a Private Equity (Co-investments) Associate in Sydney. This is a compelling opportunity to join a high-performing team that invests alongside top-tier private equity sponsors across Australia and internationally, with strong institutional backing and an established global platform.
Reporting to the Head of Private Equity (Australia), the role offers broad exposure across the full investment lifecycle. You will be involved in sourcing and evaluating co-investment opportunities, supporting detailed financial analysis and commercial assessment, and contributing to the preparation of investment committee materials. The position also provides hands‐on involvement in transaction execution, including due diligence, process coordination and closing, as well as ongoing portfolio monitoring and investor reporting. In addition, you will support capital raising initiatives and play a role in developing and maintaining relationships with private equity sponsors, advisors and institutional investors, while collaborating with global colleagues on international opportunities.
The successful candidate will bring approximately three or more years of experience in investment banking, transaction advisory, investing or consulting, with strong financial modelling and analytical capabilities. You will have experience supporting transactions, alongside excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to produce high-quality materials. A proactive and collaborative approach, strong attention to detail, and a genuine interest in private markets investing are essential. Familiarity with the Australian and New Zealand private equity landscape or exposure to institutional investors will be viewed favorably.
