JOB SUMMARY

Join Storyblok's dynamic sales team as a Senior Account Executive covering Australia and wider APAC. Drive growth in one of the fastest-growing markets by selling our headless CMS platform to enterprise clients across diverse industries and geographies.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

APAC Regional Lead

- Build and implement a strategic go-to-market plan with regional leadership to support revenue growth and maximize territory potential.
- Evangelize the Storyblok vision through product demonstrations, partnerships, market events, and tailored account initiatives.

Business Development

- Proactively generate new enterprise opportunities (targeting 20% self-sourced pipeline) with regional partners and the BDR/Partner teams; provide market insights to leadership.
- Contribute to APAC expansion by signing new Enterprise clients.
- Advance inbound deals using the MEDDIC sales process to move potential customers through the sales journey and present Storyblok’s solution.
- Support the BDR & Partner teams in shaping proactive pipeline and prospecting activities.
- Negotiate commercial offers and navigate legal/procurement in complex B2B SaaS sales.
- Maintain relationships with existing clients and support Customer Success in upselling within accounts.

Partner Management

- Expand partner network by identifying and qualifying new agencies.
- Enable partners with tools, training, and guidance to deliver enterprise projects on Storyblok.
- Prepare and host Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with key partners to secure commitment to GTM strategy.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Proven record of success in closing large and complex SaaS Enterprise deals in Australia & APAC Ability to autonomously define and execute strategic account and territory plans Familiarity with MEDDPIC, Challenger, Gap Selling, SPIN, Sandler, etc.

- Minimum of 6 years of proven SaaS solution selling experience as a Senior Account Executive coordinating with BDRs, PMs, and CSMs to drive new revenue.
- Strong relationship-building skills to grow and nurture clients and partners.
- Experience working with solution partners in a co-selling motion.
- Domain expertise in digital or e-commerce software or Martech agencies, with the ability to advise executive stakeholders.
- Ability to craft and adapt sales messaging for technical (developers) and business (marketing) personas.
- Native English speaker.
- Ideal to be based in Australia.

Travel primarily within the assigned region to foster client relationships and participate in events that contribute to growth.
