The Role

We are seeking a senior, credit‐focused and relationship‐led Business Development Manager to take ownership and act as a trusted credit and commercial partner to senior broker principals, white label leadership teams, and strategic partnership groups.

You will be responsible for deepening relationships, driving meaningful growth, and positioning the business as a lender of choice for complex, specialist and high‐value lending scenarios.

Interstate travel will be required periodically to support national white label partners, strategic initiatives, and senior relationship management.

* Take senior ownership of high‐value partnerships, including White label (non‐aggregator) mortgage partners and Strategic Partnership groups
* Act as a trusted, senior representative of the business, building strong relationships with broker principals, executive leadership, and key decision‐makers
* Drive sustainable growth through deep relationship management, not short‐term volume chasing
* Leverage strong credit expertise to support brokers with complex scenarios, deal structuring, and solution‐led conversations
* Identify and convert growth opportunities within existing partnerships, increasing share of wallet and utilisation across your portfolio
* Provide tailored lending solutions across Prime and specialist home lending, Construction lending, Commercial lending, SMSF lending and Full‐doc and alt‐doc solutions
* Work closely with Credit, Operations, Product and Marketing to Support complex transactions, resolve issues efficiently, Deliver a consistently high service experience for strategic partners
* Position the business as a long‐term strategic partner, clearly articulating credit appetite, policy strengths, and service capability
* Monitor portfolio performance using data and insights to identify uplift opportunities and address risks early
* Represent the brand with confidence and credibility at partner forums, industry events, and senior broker engagements

About you

* Proven experience as a senior BDM within mortgage lending, aggregation, or financial services not transactional BDM activity.
* Strong credit capability across specialist, commercial and SMSF lending — you are comfortable workshopping complex deals and engaging with credit teams
* Demonstrated success managing high‐value, relationship‐led portfolios, not purely transactional books
* Experience working with white label partners, strategic partnerships, or senior aggregator relationships
* Strong understanding of the broker channel, including aggregator and white label operating models
* Commercially astute, with the ability to balance growth, risk, and long‐term partnership value
* Confident engaging with senior stakeholders, broker principals, and executive teams
* Highly organised, proactive, and accountable, with a growth mindset
* Willingness and flexibility to travel interstate as required
