Chandlers Kitchen is seeking a talented Junior Sous Chef to join our dynamic team at our Rockingham Beach location. What you'll be doing
1. Assist the head chef in the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes
2. Contribute to the development and implementation of new menu items
3. Ensure adherence to food safety and hygiene standards
4. Supervise and mentor junior kitchen staff
5. Collaborate with the front-of-house team to deliver exceptional customer service
6. Participate in inventory management and cost control initiatives
What we're looking for
1. Demonstrated experience as a Junior Sous Chef or similar role within the hospitality and tourism industry
2. Formal training or qualifications in culinary arts or a related field
3. Strong understanding of food preparation techniques, menu planning, and kitchen operations
4. Excellent time management, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
5. Passion for creating innovative and delicious dishes
