Apprentice Civil Construction Plant -3 Positions Available
Temporary Full-time - 4 Year Apprenticeship
Work-life balance roster, work 38 hours a week with a rostered day off every fortnight
Attractive Salary ranging from $31,289.75 - $49,280.56+ 12% Superannuation per yearas per the Local Government (State) Award (Trainee Wages)
Additional Allwoance may be applicable as per theLocal Government (State) Award

The Opportunity

As an Apprentice in Civil Construction Plant, you will report to the coordinator and gain hands-on experience in maintaining and enhancing the local road and drainage network, contributing to vital community infrastructure. Working under the guidance of experienced professionals, you will develop practical skills across a range of construction activities while receiving formal training through a Registered Training Organisation. This role provides a solid foundation for a successful career in the civil construction industry. This apprenticeship is ideal for someone eager to learn, grow, and make a meaningful impact in their local community.

Essential Criteria

* Completed Year 10 with satisfactory outcomes (Record of School Achievement).
* Suitable Literacy, numeracy and digital literacy skills to manage the educational and professional requirements of the apprenticeship. Basic computer literacy, including experience/knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
* Eager to learn, stay organised, and juggle tasks effectively - have a commitment to training and to personal development
* A genuine interest in working with road maintenance and machinery
* Ready for hands-on work outdoors - Able to satisfy basic manual handling and physical health requirements of the position.
* A team player who loves collaborating with others - ability to work in a team environment
* Eager to learn and follow Work Health Safety rules to ensure the well-being of yourself and those around you.
