About YOUR new job: This position will play a key role in the Finance team, supporting the Finance Manager in the preparation of all statutory reporting. This role requires a technically sound and adaptable individual, whose responsibilities will include but are not limited to; •Preparing statutory accounts for various entities •Assisting in the implementation of new accounting standards •Liaising with and managing all internal and external audit activities •Identifying and managing continual process improvement •Acting as a second in charge to support the Group Controller in the development and coaching of team •Collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure compliance with all technical reporting requirements •Ad-hoc duties as required About YOU! To be considered for this position you will require 3-5 years of technical accounting and financial statements preparation experience, ideally in a large organisation. •CA or CPA qualified •Will operate with a continuous improvement mentality. •Has a ‘hands on’ work ethos and is comfortable working in the detail. •Strong technical accounting knowledge around the preparation of financial reports •Prior leadership or management experience is essential The Benefits •Circa. $120k – 125k Base Salary plus Superannuation •Broad & Varied role – Great opportunity to impress and progress. •High level of autonomy - Be measured by your output not hours!
