On behalf of our client, one of the world's great energy production corporations, we are currently seeking a Phase 2 Fabrication Supervisor to manage the offsite fabrication process for a variety of piping and structural scopes.

This is a 12-month (with a view to extend) contract position based in Perth, with occasional travel to offshore facilities.As the Fabrication Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing the offsite fabrication process from end to end, including collation of progress reports for distribution to company management, respond to technical queries, change management (including commercial variations) and review of documentation.

**About this role**
- Manage the fabrication Scope of Works / fabrication requests documentation for the bid evaluationprocess.
- Review drawings to aid the preparation of fabrication scopes of work for fabrication (piping andstructural) scopes to be executed offsite by subcontractors.
- Provide input to the bid evaluation process, reviewing fabricator's capabilities and tender submission in line with the scope of works.
- Assist with the distribution and management of fabrication RFQs / tenders, in conjunction with theProcurement Officer.
- Ensure that all fabrication deliverables are issued, work packed and executed to meet schedule,budget, quality and HSE requirements.
- Liaise with the subcontractor's representatives regarding scopes of work. Develop key relationships with the Perth based Implementation team, QA/QC Advisors (Darwin and/or Perth based) and the fabrication team as required.
- Attend fabrication scope Kick-off meetings where required.
- Ensure that the latest version of technical procedures, work instructions and test plans\ (andmodifications) are available to relevant personnel including subcontractors.
- Ensure QC inspections for on-site and off-site work are conducted as per an approved scope of work and ITP, by either attending these inspections directly, or managing a third-party inspection agency to perform these inspections.
- Work closely with Quality Advisors to ensure all fabrication is carried out in accordance with thecorrect standards and procedures and hold any work progress that does not meet these requirements
- Conduct all activities in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with the Company's policies andprocedures, always ensuring the welfare of personnel and the protection of assets and theenvironment.
- Prepare a Personal Safety Commitment Statement and demonstrate compliance.
- Maintain a register of all fabrication activities and provide regular progress reports to companymanagement.
- Ensure that all SMP fabricated items are delivered to meet schedule, budget, quality and HSErequirements.
- Interface management between project teams and sub consultants/subcontractors especiallyregarding project scoping, planning and execution.
- Assists with quality system audits, subcontractor evaluations and compliance inspections as required
- Communicating with key stakeholders internally and externally
- Demonstrate proactive engagement with other stakeholders relating to the execution Phase 2Topside modifications.
- Provide proactive leadership related to Brownfields Project activities
- Demonstrate and encourage empathetic teamwork as a member of a culturally diverse organisation

**About you**
- Current WTIA or equivalent recognised International Welding Inspector Qualifications highlydesirable
- Experienced with piping and structural welding fabrication processes for, stainless steel, coppernickel, titanium, duplex, super-duplex and carbon steel and associated NDT/NDE/testingrequirements within the oil & gas industry.
- Sound knowledge of fabrication strategies, techniques, and philosophies.
- Sound knowledge of pWPS, WPS, PQR, WQT/WPQ.
- Good knowledge of fabrication maintenance requirements for offshore installations i.e. coatings and insulation.
- Sound knowledge of preservation and packaging philosophies.
- Proven experience with estimating.
- Professional / Trade qualified in Boiler making and Structural Steel Fabrication.
- Proficient with SAP.
- Strong understanding of project execution management systems including commercial, planning, and budgeting processes.
- Highly competent, motivated person with good interpersonal and influencing skills.
- Able to diplomatically manage ambiguity, conflict, and uncertainty in a culturally diverse environment.
- High awareness of safe working practices associated with design, construction, precommissioning,installation, hook-up, and commissioning of oil & gas facilities.
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written and the ability to influence a wide range of seniorstakeholders to successfully support the objectives and outcomes of this role.
- Well-developed leadership and decision-making skills
