Contaminated Land Management Specialist
The primary objective of this role is to oversee the entire lifecycle of contaminated land projects.
This involves independently managing small to medium-sized projects and collaborating with colleagues and clients across various teams.
Key qualifications for the ideal candidate include relevant consulting experience, knowledge of soil contaminants, investigation techniques, and remediation technologies, as well as strong project management skills and a collaborative team approach.
Main Responsibilities:
* Conduct environmental fieldwork including drilling, hydrogeological testing, site validation, and monitoring.
* Collect and analyze environmental samples.
* Develop conceptual site models and interpret large datasets.
* Prepare technical assessment reports and recommendations.
* Ensure contractors adhere to safety standards, compliance regulations, and quality protocols.
Requirements:
* 2-4 years of relevant consulting experience in business development and client delivery.
* Experience managing small to medium contaminated-site projects.
* Tertiary qualification in earth sciences or environmental engineering/science.
