Bowhill Engineering is seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Production Systems Coordinator to take charge of planning, programming, and production scheduling at our Bowhill site. Who You Are
You’re a hands-on leader who thrives in the thick of operations, where your decisions have immediate, visible impact. You’ll succeed in this role if you:
• Are tech-savvy a quick learner and keen to master digital planning tools
• Have 5–10+ years’ experience in steel fabrication, construction or a related manufacturing environment.
• Are experienced in coordinating production workflows or managing complex project timelines.
• Enjoy solving problems and bringing clarity where others see complexity.
• Communicate easily with everyone — from clients to boilermakers — and keep teams aligned.
• Love creating order out of chaos: improving systems, reducing waste, and helping teams work smarter together.

Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate and manage production programming and project scheduling across multiple high-value structural steel projects.
• Lead and optimise planning workflows (training provided).
• Interface daily with Project Managers and Workshop Supervisors to translate project needs into achievable production schedules.
• Monitor fabrication progress, manage bottlenecks, and adjust plans in real time to meet delivery targets.
• Support procurement and material readiness aligned to production timelines.
• Review job cards, cut lists, and drawing packages for accuracy and buildability.
• Champion continuous improvement in production planning and job tracking systems.
