About the Roles
We are expanding and seeking passionate, reliable Aviation Screening Officers to join our growing aviation security team. You will play a critical role in maintaining the safety and security of airport operations through:
* Access Control & Security Screening Points
* Customer & Visitor Screening Operations
Flexible rosters are available (day, night, weekends) across a 24/7 schedule, with both permanent and casual positions to suit your lifestyle.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct passenger, baggage, and personal screening in line with aviation security regulations
* Operate X‐ray screening equipment and screening technology effectively
* Identify prohibited items and respond appropriately to security threats
* Maintain compliance with airport security procedures and SOPs
* Provide professional customer service while ensuring safety and security standards are met
* Complete incident reports and maintain accurate screening documentation
* Work collaboratively with airport stakeholders, airlines, and law enforcement agencies.
Skills & Experience
* Previous experience in aviation screening, aviation security, or airport operations is highly regarded
* Experienced X‐ray Operators or applicants with screening qualifications are strongly encouraged to apply
* Strong understanding of aviation security protocols and regulatory compliance
* High level of professionalism, observation skills, and attention to detail
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Ability to remain calm and follow procedures in fast‐paced environments
* Reliable, punctual, and team‐oriented.
Qualifications
The following are required, or willingness to obtain:
* NSW Security Licence (1A minimum)
* ASIC (preferred)
* Cert II in Transport Security Protection (highly regarded)
* Current First Aid & CPR
* White Card; Fire Warden and Traffic Control
* Ability to pass police, drug, and alcohol checks.
