We are seeking a skilled Clinical Coding Documentation Auditor And Educator to join our team in Mount Gambier. The ideal candidate will have advanced clinical coding experience, strong competency in ICD-10-AM, and excellent auditing, education, and training skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead Education and Training Programs: Develop and deliver training programs for coding staff to support accuracy, consistency, and case mix performance.
* Deliver Casemix and Coding Education: Provide education to clinicians and hospital staff through presentations, workshops, and one-on-one support.
* Conduct Audits and Analyse Results: Conduct random and targeted coding audits, analyse results, and recommend improvements to lift coding accuracy and data quality.
* Develop Audit Tools and Measures: Create audit tools, benchmarks, and measures to monitor performance and identify classification or documentation issues affecting ABF outcomes.
* Support Coding Workforce Development: Support the onboarding of new coders, contribute to the Clinical Coding Traineeship Program, and oversee data integrity.
* Prepare Accurate Reports: Prepare accurate reports, support end-of-month submissions, and resolve documentation queries with clinicians as needed.
