About the Role:
Whitehaven Coal are seeking Experienced Operators who can demonstrate a commitment to safety and visible work practices, maintain a high work output level and contribute to a collaborative organisational culture.
These roles are based on site at Maules Creek, where we run a modern fleet of CAT and Hitachi equipment.
Please note - in order to be eligible to apply for the positions, you must be a current contractor at Maules Creek. Current Trainees must have completed their traineeship program.
What You’ll Do:
Operate heavy mining equipment in a safe and efficient manner.Commitment to safety procedures and maintaining a zero-harm work environment.Ability to communicate clearly with peers, supervisors, maintenance personnel and other departments.Capable of maintaining focus in high-pressure environments and adhering to production targets.
What You’ll Bring:
Experience operating mining equipment including statements of competency/training transcripts.Live local to the area or willingness to to work 12.5-hour shifts working rotating day and nights.Current Drivers Licence.Adherence and participation of our STRIVE values Safety, Teamwork, Respect, Integrity, Value and Excellence.
