We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Solution Architect to join our Digital Planning & Architecture team.
This role you will provide expert guidance on the development and modification of solution components ensuring alignment with architectural strategies, policies, standards and practices.
You will design robust, scalable and secure cloud/solution architectures tailored to the Australian healthcare industry's unique needs and regulatory requirements.
Employment Type: Fulltime (Maximum term contract for 2 years)
Salary: Band 6 ($140k Plus 12% Superannuation)
Key tasks and responsibilities:
Develop and document solution architectures that meet business and technical requirements.
Ensure architectural designs are robust, scalable and secure complying with regulations and standards.
Create and maintain technical documentation including architecture diagrams and design specifications.
Review and interpret business requirements specifications (BRS) for alignment with Primary Health Insights (PHI) capabilities.
Collaborate with business units and stakeholders to refine and align business requirements with strategic goals.
Contribute to the strategic direction of technology investments for the development of PHI architecture.
Define and design technology solutions that support business objectives and align with the strategic plan.
Lead the design and delivery of projects including functional analysis, business case development and project execution.
Develop, test and implement technology solutions ensuring they meet specifications and are delivered on time.
Oversee project execution, manage risks and ensure solutions are implemented as planned.
Provide expert advice on technical aspects of solution development including integration and changes.
Ensure technical strategies, policies, standards and practices are correctly applied throughout the development process.
Maintain expertise in one or more technical areas and share knowledge within the organization.
Adopt appropriate systems design methods and tools balancing functional and non-functional requirements.
Conduct impact analysis on major design options, making recommendations and managing associated risks.
About you
To be considered for this role candidates must meet the following selection criteria:
Essential experience and education
Tertiary Qualification in a relevant business or technical discipline or equivalent demonstrated experience in a similar role.
Minimum of 3 years in software architecture design.
Proven expertise in cloud principles and practices including scalability, resiliency, security, cost automation and management.
Experience in building and managing enterprise-scale cloud solutions including Cloud Automation (Terraform/Bicep/CloudFormation) and cloud data services.
Experience with Microservices, DevOps, network architectures, client/server architectures and web architectures.
Knowledge of Identity & Federation Services (IAM) and secure solution design.
Demonstrated ability to provide advice and recommendations using appropriate project and change management techniques.
Proven track record of working collaboratively with stakeholders in a project environment.
Effective written and oral communication skills capable of explaining complex architectural concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Relevant cloud certifications (e.g. Azure/AWS Solution Architect) are highly desirable.
