Job Description
This is a challenging and highly rewarding role within the Older Persons Community Mental Health Service. As a senior psychologist, you will be conducting high-level psychological assessments and brief interventions for consumers and their families/carers impacted by acute/severe mental health problems.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to provide evidence-based clinical/neuropsychology assessments, therapy, and interventions to older persons with psychiatric disorders. You will also work collaboratively with consumers, carers, and other service providers in achieving identified consumer outcomes.
You will have the opportunity to provide clinical practice supervision to less experienced psychologists and students on postgraduate placement in accordance with the PsyBA guidelines.
