Overview
Join our NSW Operations Team as an Area Supervisor and help maintain and grow our busy network of Reverse Vending Machines.
Own your own patch of NSW and ensure that TOMRA assets in the field are always kept to a high standard of cleanliness and functionality by overseeing the activities of our cleaning partners. You will identify key operational deficiencies in the performance of contractors, site conditions, and relationships with site stakeholders and then work closely with TOMRA's management team to implement improvement strategies designed to promote the customer experience.
Our entire TOMRA team take great pride in the presentation of our machines. Our Area Supervisors are provided with a vehicle, equipment and training to ensure they are able to assist with small maintenance tasks including cleaning while they are on site. Our Area Supervisors are the face of TOMRA at our Reverse Vending Machines and maintaining a strong customer focused relationship with our partners is key to succeeding in this role.
This role is full time (5 days per week) and the successful applicant will be required to work 1 weekend day a week.
As the successful candidate will be travelling extensively in their area (occasional regional travel), a fully maintained vehicle is provided as part of this role. Driver history checks, federal police clearance and a medical including a drug and alcohol screen are required as part of our background check process.
Responsibilities
* Own your own patch of NSW and oversee TOMRA assets in the field to maintain cleanliness and functionality.
* Identify operational deficiencies in contractor performance, site conditions, and stakeholder relationships; work with management to implement improvement strategies.
* Provide maintenance support for TOMRA assets to maintain cleanliness and operation standards.
* Maintain strong customer-focused relationships with site partners and stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes.
* Assist with small maintenance tasks and cleaning on site as required.
* Audit contractor performance and provide feedback to address concerns and improve productivity.
* Complete site evaluation reports and share findings with contractors and employees to develop improvement strategies.
* Evaluate and recruit/engage with contractors as needed and resolve disputes with contractors, employees, and site stakeholders; report to HR and Management as required.
* Undertake site operations responsibilities, including cleaning duties as set out in the TOMRA Cleaning Guide.
Qualifications
* Availability to work 5 days per week including one weekend day
* Proven experience in a similar role
* Previous experience in cleaning/labouring; manual work required
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Ability to remain calm under pressure and resolve conflicts
* Professionalism and a positive attitude
* Strong time management skills
* Intermediate to excellent user of Microsoft applications and general systems knowledge
