Credit & Collections Analyst – Renewable Energy

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Senior Credit Controller, this role is responsible for analysing, reporting and optimising the company's accounts receivable (AR) and rebate recovery functions.

The Credit & Collections Analyst will play a pivotal role in understanding and improving the end‑to‑end credit and collections process – from customer onboarding through to cash application and rebate recovery. The role will focus on analysing data, identifying efficiency opportunities, and partnering with management to implement and embed improved processes and controls across sales, finance and operations.

This is an ideal position for a commercially minded analyst who enjoys blending data insights with process improvement in a fast‑growing, dynamic environment.

Important: This role requires you to be on‑site 8:30 – 4:30 Mon‑Fri in our Byron Bay HQ. Please only apply if you reside in the Northern Rivers.


Credit, Risk & Collections

* Analyse customer credit performance and exposure to identify trends and risks
* Support credit assessments and limit setting for new and existing accounts
* Assist with collections calls and help the team achieve AR targets
* Monitor DSO, aged debt and overall ledger health


Reporting & Insights

* Develop and maintain AR and rebate performance dashboards and reports
* Track key metrics including DSO, aged debt %, CEI and rebate recovery timelines
* Deliver monthly performance packs and insights to senior management


Process Improvement

* Map end‑to‑end billing, credit, and rebate processes across multiple sales channels (retail, builder and rebate‑related)
* Identify inefficiencies and drive continuous improvement initiatives
* Work with stakeholders to document and embed new workflows and SOPs
* Support system automation and data integrity in Xero, Salesforce and rebate management platforms


Rebate Recovery

* Analyse and track rebate scheme performance and compliance
* Reconcile rebate claims and quantify the financial impact of improvements


Compliance & Governance

* Ensure accuracy and audit‑readiness of AR data and reporting
* Support credit governance standards and adherence to Australian Consumer Law


What You Bring

* 2–4 years experience in credit analysis, AR reporting, or financial process improvement
* Skilled in Google Sheets / Excel, financial reporting and data visualisation
* Experience using Xero, Salesforce or similar ERP/CRM systems
* Strong analytical and problem‑solving ability
* Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
* Process‑driven mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
* Exposure to rebate programs or government incentive schemes (advantageous)
