We're currently seeking an experienced .NET Developer with strong Azure experience to join a large, enterprise environment on a 6-month day rate contract. This is a Newcastle-based role requiring 2-3 days per week onsite, working as part of a collaborative Agile delivery team.
This role will see you working end-to-end on modern, data-driven applications running on Microsoft Azure, contributing to key application delivery and integration initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, test and deploy high-quality .NET applications within an Azure environment
* Build and maintain APIs and integrations using Azure Functions, Logic Apps and Service Bus
* Work closely with Project Managers, Technical BAs and Integration Leads to deliver solutions aligned to business requirements
* Contribute to Agile ceremonies, sprint planning and estimations
* Assist with UAT and production deployments following change management processes
* Conduct code reviews, testing and continuous improvement activities

Skills & Experience Required
* 3+ years' experience as a .NET Developer across the full SDLC
* Strong hands‑on experience with: .NET, C#, ASP.NET, MVC, Web API, RESTful services, SQL Server, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, jQuery
* Proven Azure cloud experience
* Strong integration experience using REST, SOAP, JSON, XML
* Experience with Git, Jira & Confluence
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
