Position Title: Enrolled Nurse (Aged Care – Home Care)
Reports to: Registered Nurse / Clinical Manager

Position Summary
The Enrolled Nurse (EN) provides high-quality, person-centred nursing care to aged care clients living in their own homes. Working under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse, the EN supports clients to maintain independence, dignity, and safety while delivering clinical care in line with Aged Care Quality Standards, organisational policies, and legislative requirements.
Key Responsibilities Clinical Care
* Deliver nursing care within EN scope of practice under RN supervision
* Monitor and document vital signs, health status, and clinical changes
* Perform wound care, continence assessments, catheter care, and basic clinical procedures
* Administer medications (if medication endorsed) in accordance with policies and care plans
* Identify, escalate, and report deterioration or changes in client condition
Aged Care & Home Care Support
* Provide care aligned with individual care plans and goals
* Support clients with chronic disease management and health maintenance
* Promote independence, reablement, and ageing in place
* Provide education and support to clients and their families/carers
Documentation & Compliance
* Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation and progress notes
* Comply with Aged Care Quality Standards, Charter of Aged Care Rights, and NMBA standards
* Adhere to infection prevention and control procedures in home environments
* Follow WHS and manual handling practices in community settings
Communication & Collaboration
* Communicate effectively with Registered Nurses, care coordinators, and support workers
* Participate in case conferences, handovers, and care reviews
* Support and guide care workers within scope and delegation requirements
Essential Requirements
* Diploma of Nursing (Enrolled Nurse)
* Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse
* Medication endorsement (or willingness to obtain)
* Current National Police Check
* Current First Aid & CPR certification
* Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle
Desirable Skills & Experience
* Experience in aged care, community nursing, or home care
* Knowledge of Support at Home Program, Home Care Packages, or CHSP
* Strong assessment, time management, and organisational skills
* Confidence working independently in community environments
