Join a leading name in scaffolding across residential projects in SEQ.
We're looking for an experienced and motivated Yard Manager to take charge of the daily operations in our scaffold yard.
This is a hands-on role responsible for maintaining yard efficiency, ensuring all scaffold gear is accurately picked and prepared for jobs, and keeping the yard running safely and smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee all day-to-day operations within the scaffold yard.
* Lead the yard team in loading and unloading gear, ensuring all work is completed efficiently and safely.
* Coordinate directly with the Dispatch Manager to ensure all job gear lists are picked, checked, and ready on schedule.
* Maintain high standards of yard organisation, tidiness, and safety at all times.
* Oversee the accuracy and time efficiency of gear picking, loading, and unloading processes.
* Monitor and improve overall yard workflow and team productivity.
* Ensure all gear is stored, maintained, and handled according to company procedures.
Hours of Work
* Monday to Friday: 5:00am – 1:30pm
* Overtime available as required.
* Weekend work may be offered depending on workload and project deadlines.
Skills & Experience
* Previous experience in a scaffold yard or construction yard management role (preferred).
* Strong leadership, organisation, and communication skills.
* Ability to manage and motivate a small team.
* Good understanding of scaffold components and yard operations.
* Physically fit and capable of manual handling.
* Current valid forklift ticket (required)
