**Job Overview:**
Randwick City Council is seeking a Sustainable Transport Officer to manage sustainable and active transport issues within the city.
The ideal candidate will have tertiary qualifications in engineering, town or urban planning, or landscape architecture, and experience in high-quality transport project delivery.
Key responsibilities include developing and reviewing policies and strategies, ensuring efficient issue resolution, and engaging consultants for project evaluation and design.
* To develop and review policies, strategies, and research relating to sustainable transport.
* To ensure all sustainable/active transport issues are dealt with efficiently and effectively in accordance with relevant guidelines and requirements.
* Engage appropriate consultants for required evaluation, concept design, and detailed construction design of externally funded sustainable transport projects.
**Required Skills and Qualifications:**
* Tertiary qualifications in Engineering (with a Traffic/Transport major), Town/Urb
* Knowledge and experience in relevant Transport for NSW manuals and Austroads guidelines.
* Experience in delivering high-quality transport projects with quality urban design and sustainability principles.
