Located in the heart of the Shoalhaven, Sikorsky Australia are seeking a self-motivated, team player to support our aircraft Maintenance team.
As a Technical administrator, you will be responsible for performing hands on maintenance support tasks related to the Sikorsky Romeo helicopters.
Your responsibilities will include: We are currently seeking an Avionics Leading Hand to perform maintenance on MH-60R Fleet and supervisor a team AME's and apprentices.
As an integral part of the Maintenance team, you will be responsible for supervising and leading your team to ensure efficient management of aircraft maintenance on military helicopters.
You will be responsible for: Leading, mentoring and coaching your team to ensure tasks are performed safely, to quality standards and within nominated timeframes Perform AME and Independent / Error Capture Inspector maintenance tasks in accordance with regulatory and customer standards Allocate assigned labour recourses to ensure maintenance activities are performed safely, to quality standards and on time Liaise and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to overcome difficulties Actively contribute to the completion of maintenance activities About you: If you have the passion for helicopters and people, enjoy contributing to a hard-working team, then we'd love to hear from you.
Essential: Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Avionics) Significant experience and technical knowledge of Rotary Wing military aircraft Experience in successfully leading and managing a team to achieve organizational outcomes Ability to obtain and maintain Australian Defence Force security clearance Special Requirements: Applicants must be eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance and employment may be contingent on the provision of further personal information including citizenship to ensure compliance with international export control legislation and regulations.
