Salary: $45,000 – $65,000 per year

About The Position

Priceworth Furniture is hiring an Office and Operation Assistant to coordinate deliveries, manage shipping documentation, and support operations team. You will conduct yourself consistently with our G.I.F.T values (Growth, Integrity, Focus, Teamwork) and align with our policies and procedures.


Job Description

* Comply with and maintain records of business transactions and office activities.
* Provide exceptional value‑adding customer service to internal and external parties, assist with customer queries and resolve them in a timely manner.
* Escalate or refer any unresolved actions to your manager promptly.
* Ensure accuracy of all documentation including spreadsheets, appointments, and bookings.
* Process data and documentation accurately and timely; respond to emails effectively.
* Provide general administrative support to the operations team as required.
* Collaborate with other teams on assigned projects.
* Follow reasonable instructions provided by manager.
* Take inventory and order office supplies as needed.
* Update logs and order forms.
* Analyse operations and propose improvement suggestions to the manager.
* Ensure product is accurate, labelled correctly, and delivered on time.
* Optimise inventory and processes within the warehouse.
* Report damage or losses.
* Update the system and documentation on stock movements.
* Prepare documentation and inventory for audits.
* Maintain documents and update compliance records.
* Assist with improvement initiatives or projects within operations.
* Investigate discrepancies or issues involving deliveries.

* Strong focus and commitment to quality, compliance and accuracy.
* High level of interpersonal, verbal and communication skills with ability to communicate at all levels.
* Demonstrated reliability in meeting deadlines and commitments; able to set realistic goals, problem‑solve and establish priorities.
* Ability to work hands‑on in the warehouse as well as administrative tasks.
* Ability to build strong business relationships.
* Organised with a continuous improvement mind‑set.
