We're on the lookout for a passionate and driven individual to fill the role of Commercial Services Skills Trainer.
The Role
As a Disability Skills Trainer at Intelife, you won't just be leading a team – you'll be actively contributing to their growth and success.
Your role will be working alongside a small crew, you will be hands on working with a dedicated team, this will consist of maintaining the following:
* Gardening and landscaping services
* Commercial cleaning
* BBQ cleaning contracts
* Car washing
* Litter picking across PTA train stations and roadside collections
This is not a Support Worker role but a Skill Trainer position where you will involve in the completion of contracts as well as enabling your crew to reach their potential.
Key responsibilities include
* Supervise and coordinate a team in performing commercial services, encompassing gardening, landscaping, commercial cleaning, and BBQ cleaning.
* Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and up to the highest quality standards.
* Provide on-the-job training and support to crew members, including those with disabilities, fostering the development of valuable job skills.
* Collaborate with the crew to plan and execute daily work schedules, meeting contractual obligations within specified time frames.
* Maintain open communication with Operations to address concerns or issues arising during service delivery.
* Uphold company policies, including those related to safety, quality control, and customer service.
Your success will be ensured if you
* Possess some experience in Administration, Horticulture and/or Cleaning
* Are willing to complete 'hands on' jobs as this role is not only a 'supervisory' role.
* Demonstrate your ability and commitment to a safe working environment.
* Enjoy working with and supporting employees with a disability from a range of social, financial and cultural backgrounds.
* Possess the capacity to meet the inherent physical requirements of the position.
To be successful you will also require
* A valid National Police Clearance of no more than 3-months old (we can help you to obtain one).
* Hold the appropriate rights to work in Australia.
* Possess a valid WA driving licence
* Possess a current Senior First Aid certificate (we can help you with this)
* Horticultural, Gardening or Landscape experience (Desirable)
* NDIS Screening
