Job Title: Recoveries Specialist
The primary objective of this role is to manage and coordinate the recovery process for motor insurance claims. As a specialist in this field, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring successful claims recoveries while delivering exceptional service to clients.
A key responsibility of this position is to assess and investigate motor insurance claims to identify opportunities for recovery. This involves engaging in effective negotiation with relevant third parties, including other insurers, loss adjusters, and solicitors, to recover claims costs.
Collaboration with internal teams and external parties is essential in ensuring the success of claims recoveries. You will work closely with colleagues to gather essential data and supporting evidence for successful recoveries, maintaining accurate and up-to-date claims records and documentation.
This role requires experience working in recoveries or collections, dealing directly with customers/clients over the phone. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills are also essential. Experience in handling litigated claims and working with legal teams is advantageous, as is the ability to work both within a team and autonomously.
