An exciting opportunity exists for a Clinical Psychologist - Advanced, to provide advanced clinical services, leadership and direction within the interprofessional team.
The Recovery and Partnerships Intellectual, Developmental Disability Team Mental Health and Specialised Service is a specialist community based service that provides specialist healthcare to young people and adults with complex neurodevelopmental conditions such as intellectual disability, autism, congenital neurocognitive conditions who present with significant moderate to severe emotional and behavioural difficulties, including co-occurring mental health disorders.
Mental Health and Specialist Services (MHSS) provide integrated hospital and community specialised mental health assessment and treatment services across the age-spectrum. Our services aim to be consumer focused and recovery oriented.

Key Responsibilities include:
Deliver advanced level clinical psychological assessment, formulation, brief intervention, positive behaviour support planning, support for the primary treating team in effective and timely care coordination and discharge planning, in alignment with National frameworks and guidelines for reducing and eliminating the use of restrictive practices in people living with a disability.
Consult, develop and lead the implementation of interprofessional clinical practices, procedures and protocols that support the model of care.
Remuneration value up to $ p.a., comprising salary rates $ $76.30 p.h., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP5) (part time position, 45.6 hrs p.f.).
