About the Role
As the Business and Market Data Analyst, you'll be the custodian of all data sources and master of compiling and creating reports, critical to formulating commercial strategy.
You will manage and foster strong relationships with leading external data agencies (NIQ, Circana, Dunnhumby and Quantium), clearly communicating business requirements to obtain local and global FMCG market data.
Leveraging your Power BI, AI and automations skill, you'll be the 'go-to' person for all things reporting.
What You'll Do
* Full ownership of external data providers (EMS) including new agreement negotiations, budget, invoice and purchase order management
* Ensure accuracy and timeliness of market data reports used for business-critical decisions
* Full GS1 Management for AU, including upload of NPD, hard changes and CPI
* Updating of Nielsen databases and maintenance of existing Nielsen, Quantium, Homescan and other reports
* Manage and embed the EMS training program with our local teams
* Engage with local data suppliers, global/regional teams and online platforms to bring additional consumer, shopper, and category trends to the commercial team
* Support resolution of issues on Fin and Data dump files for both AU & NZ
* Tracking of NPD, in-market pricing, CPIs and competitor activity to present internally
What You'll Bring
To be successful in this busy and varied role, we're needing someone with the highest level of attention to detail and an excellent communicator with the ability to translate business requirements to external partners.
* 3 to 5 years in data analytics, category insights, business insights or similar
* Advanced Excel, Power BI and GS1 portal experience
* Strong attention to detail
* Passion for data and analysis, be proactive and collaborative
