The Role & Responsibilities
As a Regional Sales Manager, you will play a critical role in driving commercial success by leading and inspiring a high-performing sales team, cultivating strong relationships with medical professionals, and championing innovative, patient-focused solutions.
Your primary responsibility will be to achieve and exceed sales targets by empowering your team to deliver value-driven offerings that enhance patient outcomes and align with our company's purpose-led mission.
Lead and mentor a team of 8+ Medical Sales Representatives across Australia to achieve and exceed sales targets.
Develop and execute a strategic plan to maximize sales opportunities and expand the company's market presence.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including ophthalmologists, optometrists, and orthoptists.
Provide training, guidance, and support to ensure the team effectively promotes our ophthalmic products and delivers value-driven solutions for patients.
Stay current with industry trends, competitor activities, and advancements within ophthalmology to keep the team informed and competitive.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and medical affairs, to align strategies and achieve shared goals.
Maintain compliance with Medicines Australia guidelines and internal company policies.
Skills & Experience
Minimum 3 years' experience as a Regional Sales Manager or Medical Sales Representative, ideally within pharmaceuticals or related healthcare fields
Proven ability to build strong customer relationships and drive sales in a competitive environment
Demonstrated success in consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable territory strategies
Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative, team-oriented culture
Full Australian working rights
Valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle with a 5-star ANCAP safety rating
