New and exciting customer support opportunity with a market-leading organisation
**Your new company**
Our client is a well-established, nation-wide organisation that provides services to clients in multiple industries including industrial and logistics, food and beverage and health and pharmaceuticals. A new need has arisen for an experienced Customer Support Specialist to join their close-knit team based out of their Northern Gold Coast office on a full-time, permanent basis. You will be allowed to work fully from home to begin with and the role will then transition to a hybrid position.
**Your new role**
This is a key role which requires you to consult with internal staff and customers to make sure the full customer experience is smooth using extremely effective communication skills. The role involves replying promptly and solving customer queries and escalating where appropriate. Responsibilities include:
- Process customer orders
- Maintain customer information on CRM
- Proactively communicating with customers to advise ETA's on services
- Serving as the first point of resolution for any customer issues and responding in a timely manner
- Work towards key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Liaise and act as an extension of the sales team
- Explain how to use products to any customer enquiries
- Identify potential sales opportunities from day-to-day discussions with clients and escalate to the sales team
- Manage some inbound calls and make outbound calls where needed
- Data entry
- General admin support to the wider team
**What you'll need to succeed**
To be successful you will have:
- A minimum of 2 years' proven experience in a customer service or after sales support position
- Experience building strong customer relationships
- Excellent phone manner and communication skills both written and verbal
- A high attention to detail and accuracy
