Our client, a large, Federal Government Organisation responsible for health research, funding, promotion and regulation, require the services of a SAP Security & GRC Specialist.
Duties of the SAP Security & GRC Specialist
* Provide oversight of SAP Access Governance;
* Refine SAP role catalogues, access design standards, & privileged access frameworks;
* Perform periodic SoD conflict reviews & sensitive access validations;
* Conduct technical reviews of Firefighter usage, document activity logs, identify exceptions, & coordinate escalation or remediation actions;
* Review & validate the security components of SAP change requests to ensure adherence to security policies, controls, & architectural standards;
* Identify & recommend automation improvements;
* Apply expert configuration knowledge in SAP GRC Access Control—particularly Emergency Access Management (EAM) and Access Risk Analysis (ARA);
* Strengthen controls, improve compliance, & support audit readiness activities;
* Apply in-depth knowledge of cybersecurity, IAM, SAP application security, & GRC frameworks to support the department’s control environment.
Skills and Experience Required
* 10+ years of hands-on SAP Security experience across ECC, S/4HANA, GRC Access Control, & CUA environments;
* Ability to Design, develop, configure, & maintain SAP Security roles across SAP ECC, SAP BW/BOBI, SAP GRC, and S/4HANA landscapes;
* Provide technical security expertise to support configuration, role development, troubleshooting, & incident resolution;
* Manage SAP user provisioning through both automated & manual processes, ensuring timely & compliant access administration;
* Administer & maintain user access across multitier SAP environments including ERP, BW/BOBI, & integrated platforms;
* Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support to end users & power users for SAP Security and GRC issues.
