About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Bus Driver and Facilities Officer to join our Facilities and Services team on a casual basis.
The role involves safely driving school buses and vehicles to support curricular and co-curricular activities, assisting with traffic management duties, performing maintenance and gardening duties and maintaining the cleanliness of school grounds.
The successful applicant will show experience and understanding of the following areas:
* Hold a current Tasmanian Light Rigid (LR) motor vehicle licence and a current Public Passenger Vehicle licence (including Passenger Transport Ancillary Certificate).
* Extensive experience (ideally in excess of five years) driving buses in a passenger transport service.
* Prior experience in a Facility Officer role.
* Knowledge and experience in maintenance tasks, including the ability to use basic hand tools.
* Highly motivated, well-organised and flexible in approach to work, with good interpersonal communication skills.
* Proven ability to schedule work and meet work requirements of facilities in a high profile working environment.
* Demonstrate strong support for the Purpose and Concerns and ethos of The Friends' School.
