A highly regarded tier‐one construction contractor, known for delivering complex community‐focused projects across Australia, is seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to join their team on the demolition component of a major social housing redevelopment in inner Melbourne. The Role
You will support the demolition phase of a significant social housing precinct, working closely with the Project Manager and Site team. Your responsibilities will include:
* Managing and administering subcontract packages
* Variations, progress claims, RFI management
* Cost tracking, forecasting, and contract compliance
* Liaising with subcontractors and internal stakeholders
* Supporting commercial reporting throughout the demolition program
What You Need
* Proven local experience as a Contract Administrator within commercial construction
* Strong understanding of subcontract management and cost control
* Ability to work at pace on a live project with tight timelines
* Full Australian working rights — including the ability to accept a permanent role (no sponsorship available)
* Immediate availability or short notice highly regarded
