What This Opportunity Offers
As an apprentice, you will be employed by Work & Training and placed with our Host Business where you'll gain real on‐the‐job experience while completing your nationally recognised qualification.
You'll receive:
* Full-time work Monday to Friday
* Four weeks of paid annual leave
* Block training through TasTAFE
* Ongoing support, mentoring, and guidance from Work & Training
* Daily supervision and skill development with an experienced team
What You'll Learn
You'll gain the hands‐on skills and technical knowledge needed to excel in the roof plumbing trade, including how to:
* Install and maintain roofs, cladding, and flashings
* Fit rainwater systems such as gutters, downpipes, and water tanks
* Work safely and follow strict industry guidelines
* Use, maintain, and care for industry tools and equipment
* Understand stormwater and rainwater systems
* Read and interpret technical drawings and plans
* Strengthen both verbal and written communication skills
Wage
* National Apprenticeship Wage applies
Essential Requirements
* Ability to complete a pre‐employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing
* Driver's Licence and reliable transport
* White Card (Construction Induction Card)
