About the Opportunity
RACV Noosa Resort is renowned for its delicious buffet breakfast, serving over 350 guests daily. We’re currently seeking an enthusiastic CommisChef to join our talented kitchen team and support our breakfast service.
In this role, you’ll oversee the daily buffet, ensuring a high standard of presentation and food quality. You’ll engage with guests, respond to enquiries, and help create an exceptional dining experience. Working alongside our dedicated team, you’ll play a key role in the smooth operation of the kitchen — maintaining quality, consistency, and efficiency every day.

As a CommisChef, your key responsibilities for the role include:
- Produce a consistent high quality product & standard
- Maintain equipment, utensils and a clean & hygienic kitchen
- Rotate stock, ensuring minimal wastage
- Follow directions from senior chefs and work as a team player
- Follow WHS, policies and procedures
This is a full-time position working a Sunday to Thursday roster, 4:30am - 12:30pm.
What you’ll need to be successful
Completed a Certificate III or IV in Cookery qualification, recognised in Australia.
Thrive in a large, busy & fast paced work setting, with efficiency, organisation and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, can follow direction and work well in a team environment.
Committed and a passion for cooking with a strong focus on food quality and presentation.
