About the Role
As our Events Specialist, you will:
* Plan and execute major events and external fundraising campaigns.
* Manage event budgets and ensure financial targets are met.
* Coordinate operational delivery, working with internal teams and external partners.
* Drive event promotion and manage invitations and RSVPs.
* Seek sponsorships and in-kind support to maximise event success.
* Analyse event performance and attendee feedback to continually improve experiences.
You'll work closely with our Philanthropy, Corporate & Community Engagement team, Marketing and Communications team, and other key stakeholders to ensure seamless event execution and outstanding attendee experiences.
About You
You're an experienced event professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and loves creating memorable experiences. You'll bring:
* Minimum 2 years' experience in event management.
* Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Experience in budget management and stakeholder engagement.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* Proficiency in MS Office and database management.
* A valid driver's licence and willingness to work occasional out-of-hours.
* National Police Clearance and Working with Children's Check or ability to obtain
* Event or Project Management qualifications and experience in the not-for-profit sector will be highly regarded.
