About the Role
Join a busy workshop team fabricating and welding structural steel components across a variety of commercial and industrial projects. This is a long-term opportunity with a genuine view to permanency — ideal for a trade-qualified Boilermaker or Welder who values stability, variety, and a supportive team environment. Day shift is the primary focus; afternoon shift is also available. Structural/MIG experience an advantage
Duties
* Fabricate and weld structural steel components to engineering drawings and specifications
* Perform MIG,
* Interpret and work from technical drawings and work orders
* Maintain quality standards and safe work practices throughout fabrication
* Collaborate with an experienced workshop team across varied projects
Skills & Experience
* Trade qualification in Boilermaking or Welding (Certificate III or equivalent)
* Proven experience in structural steel fabrication or heavy industrial welding
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
* MIG welding experience
* Current driver's licence and own transport (desirable)
