This is a pivotal leadership role where you will continue to leverage on existing investment in a new technology platform and further shape technology strategy, modernise infrastructure, and a large team, while partnering across the organisation to deliver meaningful, community-focused outcomes.

About The Role
As a leader, you will be responsible for driving and translating strategy into action. You will oversee the delivery of scalable and resilient technology solutions, ensure infrastructure performance across multiple Council sites, and work closely with business leaders to enable transformation and service excellence.
You will balance innovation with governance, collaboration with accountability, and operational reliability with long-term strategic thinking.
Key Responsibility
* Provide leadership and management of IT across the organisation.
* Contribute to the development and implementation of the IT strategic plan. Maintain -optimal service support functions to meet agreed service levels, offering exceptional user experiences.
* Monitor and control service delivery through robust systems, processes, and procedures.
* Develop, monitor, and manage annual operational budgets.
* Implement continuous improvement programs to enhance operational efficiency and outcomes.
* Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and professional development within the IT team.
Skill & Competencies
* Graduate Certificate/Diploma (AQF Level 8) in a relevant discipline, or minimum 7 years equivalent experience.
* Demonstrated experience leading multiple IT domains and managing diverse technical and customer-facing teams.
* Ability to think strategically and make informed and considered decisions to benefit the Division and the organisation as a whole
* Ability to lead, inspire and empower others to achieve outcomes and make considered decisions.
* Ability to create and manage appropriate relationships with the Executive and Divisional Management.
* Proven project management experience
