Senior Hospital Pharmacist Role
We are seeking a senior hospital pharmacist to join our dynamic and supportive team. As a senior hospital pharmacist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centred care.
* Dispensing and supplying medications in line with legal and professional standards
* Participating in clinical ward rounds
* Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to optimise patient outcomes
About the Role
This role involves working across a 76-hour fortnight, including 1–2 weekend shifts per month. You will be required to work independently and prioritise workload while maintaining high attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
Key Responsibilities
1. Supervise and support junior pharmacists in their roles
2. Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve medication management
3. Contribute to quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
* Current AHPRA registration as a pharmacist
* Preferable 2 years' experience in pharmacy practice (not mandatory)
* Strong knowledge of PBS and dispensary workflows
* Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills
