Your Opportunity
We're seeking a qualified Refrigeration Mechanic to join our Bowen depot, located in the heart of North Queensland's Whitsunday region. In this role, you'll work on a variety of projects, including maintaining and improving schools, public facilities, and community buildings. You'll contribute to key community projects and collaborate with our government partners to expand QBuild's services, helping Bowen and the surrounding region continue to thrive.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Valid Refrigeration Mechanic Qualifications – if you're not qualified, this role isn't for you
* Hands‑on skills and pride in quality workmanship
* Commitment to your safety and the safety of those around you
* A willingness to use digital tools – yes, even tradies need to check emails
* Enjoy sharing your knowledge and supporting apprentices as part of developing the next generation of skilled workers
