* Ideal role for an experienced open pit Production Engineer
The Opportunity:
You'll work closely with a diverse and high performing team for our Open Pit Mining Team at St Ives Gold Mine.
Reporting to the Senior Engineer: Mine Production, you will be responsible for drill and blast designs and short‑term scheduling in line with short to medium term plans.

What You'll Do
* Play a role in guiding the mine to success by developing and implementing 2‑weekly production plans that align the mine to its mid and long‑term plan
* Contribute to continuous improvement through your analysis of stoping performance and optimisation of dilution and recovery.
* Role model our core values and create a culture where every team member feels seen, supported, and valued.
What You'll Bring
* Tertiary qualifications in Mining Engineering, or a related discipline, plus a manual driver's licence.
* A WA Quarry Manager's Certificate of Competency is highly regarded
* Previous experience within open pit engineering, with drill and blast design, preferably in gold
* Demonstrated exposure to drill and blast design software is essential, preferably Deswik.
