About the role
South West Healthcare (SWH) is seeking a dedicated and skilled Mental Health Clinician to join our Hamilton Adult Mental Health and Wellbeing Service.
In this vital role, you will be a key member of a multidisciplinary team, delivering high-quality clinical care to consumers, families, and carers.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Providing both short- and long-term case management
* Conducting comprehensive mental health assessments
* Delivering evidence-based treatment interventions
The role also includes outreach support, ensuring care is accessible across a variety of settings including consumers' homes, residential care facilities, and community environments guided by current clinical best practices.

As a Clinician at SWH, you will work within a structured and collaborative framework that emphasises clear communication and coordination with colleagues, families, carers, and both internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless and effective service delivery.
Position overview
* Employment Type: Full-time (80 hours per fortnight) with a monthly ADO, On-going position
* Location: Hamilton Campus
* Classification: Registered Psychiatric Nurse Grade 3, Social Worker/Occupational Therapist/Psychologist Grade 2
Salary Range
* Registered Psychiatric Nurse Grade 3: $100,932.00 - $112,091.20 pro rata, plus superannuation
* Occupational Therapist Grade 2: $88,030.80 - $101,197.20 pro rata, plus superannuation
* Social Worker Grade 2: $88,030.80 - $101,197.20 pro rata, plus superannuation
* Psychologist Grade 2: $94,478.80 - $106,906.80 pro rata, plus superannuation
What you bring
* A qualification in Social Work, Psychiatric Nursing, Occupational Therapy, or Psychology.
* Demonstrated experience in delivering mental health clinical services within a multidisciplinary team setting.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* A strong understanding of relevant legislation, regulatory requirements, and contemporary mental health practices.
* Experience working with older adults and/or providing ongoing case management will be highly regarded.
* Social Workers: Tertiary degree in Social Work and eligibility for AASW membership.
* Psychologists: Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Psychologist.
* Nurses: Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Psychiatric Nurse.
* Occupational Therapists: Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Occupational Therapist.
