In this role you will be an integral team member on supporting the technical advisory and direction of key work scopes. You will work with an integrated team across Brisbane and Perth,
As part of this role, duties will include:
1. Ensure process designs meet required safety standards and actively participate in HAZOP studies and design reviews
2. Deliver best practice process designs in accordance with project, time, budget and technical requirements
3. Develop innovative solutions to complex process and technical problems for a wide range of commodities
4. Prepare process deliverables such as process design criteria, process flow diagrams, mass and energy balances, equipment sizing, piping and instrumentation diagrams, process control philosophies, operating cost estimates and study reports
5. Support and assist Senior and Principal Process Engineers on studies and implementation projects.

To be successful we are looking for the following skills/background:
6. Tertiary Qualifications in Chemical, Metallurgy or equivalent from recognised institution
7. Prior industry experience with varied base metal and mineral commodities such as nickel, cobalt, copper, lithium and rare earths
8. Technical knowledge of process plant design exposed to work in concept/PFS/FS stages, in addition to project implementation
9. Excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills
10. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or as part of a multidisciplinary team
11. Experience with metallurgical balancing and simulation software such as SysCAD and/or METSIM would be highly regarded, not essential as can be trained
12. Current and valid Australian working rights
