About the Role :
As a Chef de Partie at Yugen, you will take ownership of your section, delivering dishes with precision and consistency while supporting the Sous Chef and Head Chef. You'll be responsible for day-to-day section management, mentoring junior chefs, and ensuring the highest standards of taste, presentation, and food safety are met. This is an opportunity to work in a dynamic, high-performing kitchen that prides itself on both creativity and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily operations of your section, supervising Commis and Demi Chefs.
Plan and execute mise en place (MEP), ensuring smooth service.
Prepare, cook, and plate dishes to Omnia's standards.
Monitor stock levels, check deliveries, and assist with ordering.
Train and mentor junior chefs, guiding techniques and standards.
Maintain high levels of kitchen hygiene and food safety (HACCP, FIFO).
Ensure cleaning schedules are followed consistently.
Ideal Candidate Will Have
2+ years' experience in a high-end restaurant environment.
Strong understanding of section management and kitchen operations.
A passion for culinary excellence and consistency.
Team leadership and mentoring ability.
In-depth knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
