Business Development Executive – Melbourne, VIC
Corpay is seeking a high-performing Business Development Executive to drive strategic sales growth by identifying, developing, and closing high-value opportunities across mid-to-large business segments. The role includes end‐to‐end ownership of the sales cycle, from prospecting to negotiation and deal closure, managing complex, multi‐product solutions.

Key Responsibilities
* Identify, prospect, and convert mid‐to‐large business opportunities through structured outbound engagement
* Own pipeline strategy and prioritisation across industry verticals
* Lead complex deal negotiations and close high‐value, multi‐product solutions
* Partner with Sales Leadership, Marketing, and Product to influence outbound campaigns and customer messaging
* Represent the voice of the customer across internal teams, contributing to product and process improvements
* Use data to improve sales velocity, shape territory strategy, and identify key commercial levers
* Share thought leadership across the team, coaching Senior Sales Executives and mentoring rising talent
* Track performance rigorously via CRM, ensuring pipeline health and forecasting accuracy
Essential Qualifications
* 4+ years of B2B outbound sales experience, ideally with solution selling or consultative approaches
* Proven experience closing high‐value and/or multi‐product deals
* Excellent commercial judgement and business case development skills
* Experience working cross‐functionally with Marketing, Product, and Operations
* Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management
* CRM fluency (Salesforce preferred), plus experience using outreach or cadence tools
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in fleet, payments, or financial services
* Familiarity with sales frameworks such as MEDDIC, Challenger, or SPIN
* Exposure to strategic account planning and/or vertical segmentation
* Leadership ambitions with a track record of mentoring others
