Business Development Specialist
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain and expand a diverse portfolio of clients with varying sizes and strategic objectives.
* Develop and maintain effective client relationships by understanding their needs and proactively responding as the primary point of contact.
* Provide timely and accurate client advice across a range of insurance products.
* Identify opportunities for the client portfolio and design appropriate servicing solutions.
* Contribute to shaping the strategic direction within the portfolio and drive continuous improvement in our service offering.
* Meet renewal and new business targets for both mutual and insurance products.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced broker to expand their expertise into both State & Local Government Sectors. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining strong and long-term relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs, and working with our teams to deliver tailored risk transfer solutions.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
* Minimum 3–5 years of general or financial lines insurance broking experience.
* Tier 1 Insurance Broking qualification or higher.
* Clear and effective communication skills.
* Ability to apply critical thinking skills to solve problems strategically plan and be agile where needed.
* Ability to work under pressure, prioritize workload, meet deadlines, and demonstrate excellent time management skills.
* Full and valid Driver's license and own vehicle.
