The Role:
As a Project Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of a specialised Passive Fire Certification Program in Queensland. This program focuses on reviewing completed telecommunications builds and coordinating fire certification activities where required.
Acting as the central coordination point for the program, you will manage contractor scheduling, maintain program tracking registers and ensure certification documentation and artefacts are accurately captured and stored. You will work closely with field teams, internal stakeholders and fire certification companies to ensure certification activities are efficiently coordinated across both retrospective and future projects.
In this role, you will:
* Coordinate scheduling of fire certificCoordinate scheduling of fire certification contractors across projects
* Maintain program tracking registers for all sites requiring certification
* Support the Field Supervisor in coordinating site readiness for certification activities
* Manage the collection and storage of certification artefacts including reports, compliance documentation and photographs
* Track program progress and maintain accurate records of completed and outstanding sites
* Assist with coordination of certification activities for future builds following telecommunications installation works
* Liaise with internal teams to identify sites requiring certification
* Monitor contractor performance and scheduling to ensure efficient delivery of certification activities
* Prepare regular program reporting and status updates
* Maintain accurate data records and ensure integrity of program tracking systems
To be successful, you will have:
* Experience working in telecommunications, construction or infrastructure projects
* Strong organisational and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
* Experience coordinating contractors or service providers in a project environment
* Excellent attention to detail and documentation management
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Experience using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, for tracking and reporting
* Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external contractors
* A proactive and solutions-focused approach to problem solving
* Exposure to NBN or fibre deployment programs (preferred)
