About the Role
As the Jet Ski Guide & Operational Assistant, you will:
* Working an average of 5 days per week, and conducting guided jet ski tours 3–5 days per week departing from Airlie Beach .
* Assist with the detailing and maintenance of our fleet of luxury charter vessels to ensure the highest presentation standards.
* Support business development efforts, promoting jet ski tours and private charters to visitors and local businesses.
* Assist with jet ski and vessel maintenance, including refuelling, basic servicing, launching and retrieving vessels, and trailer towing operations.
* Report daily to the Operations Manager and work closely with a committed and passionate team to deliver exceptional marine experiences.
Key Responsibilities
* Leading and conducting jet ski tours.
* Vessel detailing, maintenance, and presentation standards.
* Performing daily operations: jet ski maintenance, refuelling, basic vessel repairs, and trailer-based vessel transport.
* Launching and retrieving vessels safely and efficiently.
* Working on vessels as deckhand, host and snorkel guide.
* Operational support to jet skis, vessels and company vehicles.
* Supporting business development through marketing and guest engagement.
* Compliance with all legal requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
* Coxswain Grade 1 NC (minimum) – MED 2 or Master <24m NC highly regarded.
* Demonstrated experience operating jet skis (recreational or commercial).
* Strong background in marine tourism, vessel detailing, and cleaning.
* Proven experience in vessel launching and retrieval and trailer towing operations.
* Sales and marketing experience within the tourism sector preferred.
* Professional presentation and excellent communication skills.
* Positive leadership skills, strong attention to detail, and excellent customer service focus.
