We are seeking qualified casual teachers across primary (kindergarten to year 6) and secondary (years 7-10) and college (years settings in Canberra. These appointments play a valuable role in complementing our permanent teaching workforce.

About the role:
As a casual teacher in an ACT public school, you will:
* Inspire and teach students from kindergarten to year 10 using the Australian Curriculum (V9.0) and the ACT Board of Senior Secondary Studies Curriculum (years 11 and 12 colleges).
* Foster positive relationships with students, colleagues and the wider school community.
* Join a collaborative and supportive team focused on student wellbeing and achieving student learning outcomes.
* Apply teaching strategies and curriculum knowledge to drive improved student outcomes.
* Bring well-developed classroom management, communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage and motivate students.
* Support students' diverse needs, creating an inclusive classroom where every student feels valued and supported.
* Assist whole-school initiatives and contribute to and foster a positive school culture.
What we're looking for:
* Primary or secondary expertise: Strong curriculum knowledge and a demonstrated approach to enhancing student outcomes.
* Qualifications and experience: A recognised tertiary teaching qualification and experience working with primary-aged students.
* Passion for teaching: A genuine desire to see students thrive and succeed in a supportive and inclusive environment.
Eligibility requirements:

* A recognised 4-year full-time tertiary teaching qualification.
* ACT Teacher Quality Institute Teacher Registration (or eligibility to apply).
* Valid ACT Working with Vulnerable People registration (or eligibility to apply).
* Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or a valid working visa.
