Job Purpose
The Office Manageris an integral part of our team, contributing to our commitment to safety, precision and innovation. This position requires a highly skilled professional with expertise in business administration, project management and human resources who ensures the smooth daily operation of the company, managing staff, handling finances, and ensuring compliance with regulations.
Key Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the Office Managerinclude but are not limited to:
· Coordinate and oversee daily administrative operations to ensure smooth and efficient workflows within the office.
· Supervise and support administrative and clerical staff, allocating duties, monitoring performance, and fostering a productive work environment.
· Develop, implement, and maintain office policies, procedures, and systems to enhance operational efficiency and compliance with workplace health and safety (WHS) standards.
· Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between internal teams and contractors.
· Manage office resources, including ordering supplies and maintaining equipment, to ensure operational continuity.
· Prepare, review, and maintain project documentation, including schedules, reports, and records, ensuring accuracy and timely availability.
· Support financial administration by monitoring budgets, processing invoices, and maintaining up-to-date financial records.
· Ensure compliance with organizational policies, WHS requirements, and other relevant legislative and regulatory obligations.
Key Requirements
To qualify for this role, the candidate must possess:
* Qualifications: Diploma or Higher
* Experience: Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience in managing office operations, budgets, and teams is essential.
* Skills: strong technical expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); organizational, leadership, time management and problem-solving skills.
* Knowledge: Understanding of WHS Regulations 2011, and WHS Code of practice 2015.
* Language Proficiency: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
