Clarence Correctional Centre is Australia's largest and most advanced correctional facility. As a Medical Practitioner, you'll deliver essential primary healthcare and make decisions that genuinely change lives in a unique and rewarding environment.

What you'll do
* Provide high‑quality medical care within a multidisciplinary team
* Complete health assessments, diagnoses and treatment plans
* Manage acute, chronic, communicable and mental health conditions
* Refer patients to external providers and review clinical outcomes
* Deliver health and lifestyle education to patients
* Support or supervise Nurse Practitioners
* Ensure continuity of care for a diverse custodial population
* Work collaboratively with correctional staff to deliver integrated care
What you'll bring
* Unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Medical Practitioner
* Minimum 2 years post‑graduate GP experience
* Fellowship or working toward Fellowship, or vocational registration
* Current HLTAD009 CPR (or equivalent)
* Experience in general practice, mental health, drug and alcohol, emergency or women's health
* Strong clinical decision‑making skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication
* Cultural awareness and ability to work with diverse populations
